The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Questers and Schemers groups.

Fans can anticipate finding out which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on October 24.
